The Farm Zone is a great place for KIDS! This year, we have exciting activities and special events every day of the week. Butler County’s Master Gardener Volunteers will have a fun, interactive display on pollinators throughout the week and the “I’m a Farmer” area will run all day, every day: Sunday, July 21st through Saturday, July 27th from 11:00 a.m.

Under the direction of Advisors, Bobby Eastham and Lori Wesley, they keep the club pretty busy throughout the entire year with many different activities. While it is fresh in our minds, now is a good time to begin teaching our kids basic money skills that will guide them throughout their lives.

This month’s Butler County 4-H Club Spotlight is all about the 4-H Helpers! There are 12 members and two Advisors, Patty Elwell and Caleb Young. Most members in this group take a Special Interest or FCS project. Meetings are held at the Lane Library in Hamilton or Oxford. The club is very excited to welcome three cloverbuds to their group this year!
