This month’s Butler County 4-H Club Spotlight is all about the 4-H Helpers! There are 12 members and two Advisors, Patty Elwell and Caleb Young. Most members in this group take a Special Interest or FCS project. Meetings are held at the Lane Library in Hamilton or Oxford. The club is very excited to welcome three cloverbuds to their group this year!
Community Service is important to the 4-H Helpers. Each year the club members choose the focus for their community service and this year the focus is Community Outreach. The members and advisors recently volunteered at the Oxford Food Pantry. They stocked and sanitized shelves and mopped the floor. Some pictures of the group working together are included on our office Facebook page. The club's next community service project will be at Matthew 25: Ministries.
