OSU Extension, Butler County is seeking to hire a college student to work with the Agriculture, Family Consumer Sciences and 4-H Youth Development program areas for June-August 2018. Applicants should have leadership experience, strong communication, organizational and computer skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and demonstrate good people skills. This is a paid position.
- 20% Prepare program materials through computer creation of documents using Word, Publisher, Excel, duplication through copying, collating, stapling, preparing mailings and packing materials for program use outside of the office.
- 40% Assist Educators with program organization including the Farm Zone building at the County Fair, local foods program, farmer's market , junior master gardener, etc.. Also assist with county fair by helping in the Junior Fair office and with various 4-H youth programs.
- 20% Data entry and Excel Spreadsheets
- 20% Customer service through farmers markets, fairs, answering phone calls, e-mails and assisting walk-in clientele.
