Message to All 4-H Families:

We are living in uncertain and changing times, and as extension staff we are doing our best to continue the traditions of 4-H programming in the best, uninterrupted, safest way possible. In light of the Omicron variant disruptions, you may have been informed many area schools are having to adjust by either going virtual or closing altogether.

Looking at the numbers of cases in the county, we have decided it would be best to adjust all meetings and programming to a virtual format for the remainder of January. We will re-evaluate how February looks, so please continue to be vigilant checking your emails, as well as, social media.

This decision is not an OSU mandate, rather a reflection of county case numbers.

Since our programming numbers usually include more than 50 participants, we must take into consideration room size and spacing which is one of many reasons we are moving to a virtual format, this month.

Our office remains open with normal business hours.

You will be receiving additional emails specific to your 4-H involvement whether that be the All Advisor Update, Horse Advisor, Junior Fairboard, CARTEENS, and/or camp. Those emails will include more information and a Zoom link.

We will get through January together, keeping in mind flexibility is key.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
