Emily Masters, is the 4-H Educator for Butler County. Emily grew up on a grain and sheep farm, in Marysville, Ohio. There, she was active in 4-H and FFA and showed livestock at the county, state, and national levels. Emily graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Agricultural Communication. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community and Extension Education, through Ohio State’s Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL). Emily has worked as a TV news journalist, print journalist, publicist, in corporate public relations and marketing, and as an extension program assistant. Most recently, her work was in Hamilton County through a state legislative initiative called AgriScience in the City. Emily’s true passion is teaching and watching her students succeed by learning a new skill whether in school, after school programs, or through 4-H projects and SPIN Clubs.
