Biography:

Emily Masters, is the 4-H Educator for Butler County.  Emily grew up on a grain and sheep farm, in Marysville, Ohio.  There, she was active in 4-H and FFA and showed livestock at the county, state, and national levels.  Emily graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Agricultural Communication.  She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community and Extension Education, through Ohio State’s Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL).  Emily has worked as a TV news journalist, print journalist, publicist, in corporate public relations and marketing, and as an extension program assistant.  Most recently, her work was in Hamilton County through a state legislative initiative called AgriScience in the City.  Emily’s true passion is teaching and watching her students succeed by learning a new skill whether in school, after school programs, or through 4-H projects and SPIN Clubs.
